Urgent medical care #
Doctors are legally required to treat you (also if you do not have papers). According to the Code of Conduct for Doctors, they have to contribute to the availability and access to healthcare for everyone (KNMG, 2022). Doctors can get the costs reimbursed by the CAK (based on the Zorgverzekeringswet and Vreemdelingenwet) in case you cannot pay it yourself.
