Buurvrouw Pelger #
Our building in Rotterdam South named after Grarda Pelger (also recommended: NPO documentary: Rebels). According to the neighbors, the building had been empty for 18 years. We have reclaimed this building as public housing and won a court case so we can stay longer. We are now working hard on the renovation.
What we need for the second large expansion/renovation: #
People who want to learn + volunteer
People who want to help with volunteer coordination + planning
People to help with planning, regulation research, material sourcing, coordination + scheduling architects + construction experience
People with special knowledge to help or guide projects. Such as: Electricity, plumbing, wall framing, kitchens, bathrooms, insulation and roofing.
