General assembly #

Join BuurToren and the grassroots housing struggle in Rotterdam! Come join us
and discover how you can contribute to the fight for reclaiming public housing
in our beautiful city.

Every Sunday, between 17:00 and 20:00, participants come together for our
weekly general assembly. BuurToren always needs active participants to move
forward. This weekly meeting is a moment to discuss proposals, get to know each
other, share tasks, and plan the coming weeks together. We organize ourselves
in a non-hierarchical way and make decisions based on consensus and voting when
necessary.

Before this meeting, we hold an introduction session for newcomers. The
introduction takes place at 17:00. Attending an introduction is mandatory for
newcomers, so that you get to know the ins and outs right away. This way you’ll
know for sure what we stand for and how we work. After attending the
introduction you can join the general assembly directly from 18:00. We ask
interested people to register for the introduction session via email:

Building days #

We work hard on renovating and maintaining our location Buurvrouw
Pelger. We always need people who are
enthusiastic about working together and enjoy creative thinking and doing. We’d
love to see you at our building days every week. We ask interested people to
